In Oceanside, we are fortunate to have families who deeply value education and a professional team that works tirelessly to ensure our students succeed.
In my role overseeing Human Resources, Student Services, and the Department of Community Activities (DOCA), my core philosophy is simple: to support the people who make Oceanside great. From our dedicated teachers and administrators to our hard-working clerical staff, buildings and grounds crews, food service workers, security monitors, and support staff, we are one team. I believe that by fostering a culture of care and professional excellence for our staff, we create the best possible environment for our students to flourish. When our educators and support teams feel supported, our students feel safe, welcomed, and inspired.
The Department of Community Activities (DOCA) extends this mission beyond the classroom. Through our CARES afterschool program, enrichment opportunities, summer playground, and seasonal events, we provide the spaces where curiosity is sparked and lifelong friendships are born. These programs are vital threads in the fabric of our community, ensuring our youth feel a sense of belonging long after the final school bell rings.
