The Walk of Lights benefit in memory of Susan Satriano will take place on Saturday, October 14 at 6:30 pm on the Oceanside High School track. The rain date is October 15. Enjoy music, refreshments, raffles and, most importantly, community, while honoring a loved one.
Proceeds benefit students whose parent has undergone or is undergoing cancer treatment.

Oceanside High School is one of four winners of the 2022-23 Sportsmanship Promotion program sponsored the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA).
Oceanside Middle School has been named a 2023 School of Distinction by the Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE). Only 11 schools nationwide were selected.
Three Oceanside High School students, Victoria, MaryAnn* and Cameron-Star,* were featured on the Spotlight on Long Island Schools radio show, which aired July 22 on Suffolk County's LI News Radio 103.9. The students discussed their involvement with the high school's newly opened (September 2022) Wellness Center.
Eighteen OHS student-athletes have committed to colleges where they will continue their academic and athletic careers.
Four Oceanside High School students have won a Silver Award in the 44th annual Telly Awards, an international program recognizing excellence in video and television across a variety of platforms.
