The Oceanside School District's longstanding breakfast program for elementary students will remain intact, retaining its drop-off time of 7:30 am. The decision to adhere to the existing drop-off time was based on a parent survey.

Oceanside School District is one of only three educational institutions, and the only school district in New York State, to win the Premier Community for Theatre Education award for outstanding commitment to providing theatre access and education to all students. Dr. Nina Weisenreder has been given the Gil Trachtman Leadership Award by the New York Association of School Psychologists. She is the coordinator of the OHS Wellness Center and has been a school psychologist at OHS for over 20 years.
