Background
The Oceanside UFSD provides transportation to approximately 2,200 students which includes service to all Oceanside school buildings and over 50 non-public & special education schools.
Eligibility
The following eligibility limits apply to every student living in the Oceanside School District. They have been established by the Board and approved by the voters.

Transportation to Oceanside High School is provided for Grade 9 students only. It is not provided for students in Grades 10, 11, 12. However, State Law mandates transportation for students in Grades 9-12 attending schools between 3 and 15 miles from their homes.
Non-Public School Transportation
Requests for non-public school transportation must be postmarked on or before April 1 for the following school year. The transportation department accepts requests starting on February 1.

If you do not receive a registration card in the mail or your child is switching to a non-public school, you must contact the transportation office.
